I vote 1911 on the grounds of stopping power and reliability (100+ years of service). I can adapt to conserve ammo with the hand gun. The magazine capacity may be lower and rounds heavier, but the positives of the gun outweigh the negatives. |

Even though the M9 has a larger BB capacity due to its wider mag, I'd go with the 1911. Why? Because it's more badass than a M9. |

I thought you were talking about real life. Some of the same ideas apply to airsoft but most guns are the same caliber in airsoft. |

Yep. For milsim I like the feel of the 1911. I'm used to it and its an easy gun to take care of. |
