What does the community think of Polar98 having a night op? Maybe making it a series?

P98 has done a lot of partial night ops where the main op during the day goes a couple hours into the night. We do this at about half the ops we host.

But, what vegas is asking about is something P98 hasn't done and that is have the op run completely through the night into the next day. There have been talks about doing this for years, but it hasn't moved forward from an idea on paper yet partly due to safety concerns, but it's a bit more complex than that.

That would include tripping over stuff on the rugged terrain and what not. That's what drew the most worries.

Do a Night OP and a piece of mandatory gear is a Weapon Light or hand held flash light. They make it mandatory a big OPs. Now it is your call if you want to use it or not but if you get hurt while not using it then that is on you.

That's my considered solution, SSD. We'll also have to start a night dead rag system with the whole bike light/glow stick ordeal I think.

Yes that is also done at Major Ops. Bike light or Red/Orange Chemlight are the only allowed colors.

Something red that blinks or shines I think. It's a battery powered alternative to a chem light. Sometimes you can clip them to your goggles and what not.
