Interesting topic I'm making here. I work for P98, but I'm a freelancer who likes to critique stuff I notice so here we go. I have noticed over the past 5 months or so that the way that Polar98 has handled many of its situations has changed slightly. Inquiries sent to Polar98 has been met with some more blunt answers instead of the traditoinal elaborate messages that we've all been used to. Ever since the end of Polar98s fiasco with the association this past year, the organization has begun to review some of the ways it does business. New regulations have rarely been passed, but P98 retains its stiff milsim rules passed previously. This was declared the main focus in September. Polar98 does still have its hard nosed style when dealing with other organizaitions. This has only increased as of recent and is here to stay for quite some time to come. Nova was quoted the other day as saying "Give them the website, I don't want any more calls or texts". Nova says he realizes the existence of these conditions and says he'll be changing long term policies to fix it, but according to P98, there's no change in sight within the next 6-8 months. P98 says that nagging conditions like these can be brushed off and that tough issues like dealing with the (once existing) association last summer would be much more difficult. As a result, Polar98 will not see any reduced performance despite increased frustration. |

Here's the deal from the helm-- Polar98 is dealing with a lot of stuff right now. We'll start to get some of it off our list soon. We got NHV coming up, we need to get a deal with FCMS and complete our work with TS. The unrest with LMA only frustrated us recently. Changes are going to be made to the way we do business (like you said). Our 2013 projected plan will show a reduction in total ops on the year, and we'll also be reducing our work hours. The pact with TS will likely be extended until January 2013 but may expire at that time. We have plenty of muscle to ensure a solid 2012, however in the long term we will have to take a more reserved stance. Official plans will be outlined in a plan to be released between June and August most likely. |

Being blunt is fine. Keep it simple, keep it short, less chance of confusing. As a freelancer I have no problem with it. |

And to add: The real problem is the whole 'drama' ordeal. We have done the best we can to keep it off our field and have succeeded for the most part. It's still happening around the community and Polar98 opposes both sides (as seen with the stuff over at LMA). It is unsustainable to be able to have such unrest in the community. We must go back to our roots and understand that airsoft is built for fun and enjoyment and screwing around like so is an unnatural thing to do. This is arguably the biggest fundamental flaw in 2011 for the airsoft community. We've done what we can on our end to clean it up. |

An LMA member asked me my opinion on their situation...and then afterwards I made a comment saying "There's enough drama in life, I don't want any in my hobby." |

I agree Nova. A few years ago there was no such thing as 'drama'. Not sure if it the people we have in the present day or what thats the issue. We didn't really have any such problems in 2010 either. Did the bubble burst this year or what? |

Good point all. I think conditions will shape up after Polar98 gets rolling with its agenda after the holidays. |
