What do you guys think is the best out of box AEG? There is no doubt that they all have their weaknesses. ----- some extremities: TM is probably the most reliable, but 280fps and plastic bodies dont give you a whole lot of confidence in the gun's performance and durability. JG is cheap but break after like 2 shots. (JG= Junk&Garbage) etc. |

Well I think ICS is actually pretty good. Pricing is good and internal reliability is better than average. They lack upgradeability mostly due to the two part gearbox. I used to own an ICS AK and it was a well built rifle. Which brings up KWA, who also has upgradability problems (so I hear), but they're fairly reliable out of the box and perform well. As for G&G, they like to get wiring problems. I have owned 2 G&Gs and they both eventually has some sort of electronic issue in their stock gearboxes. My brothers fairly new G&G is having problems with that right now as well. E1/JG is a hit or a miss, but E1s are built better I've noticed and will last more than a few ops. I have an E1 P90 but it is certainly a peach as far as E1s go. |

ok I can agree with what you said. VFCs are nice but expensive. G&Ps have the same deal. |

I would have to say normally it's a three-way tie between G&P, KWA and VFC. However, you would have to consider the fact that those three brands cost on average over $300, so you get what you pay for. Most other brands are hit and miss. My friends new JG has lasted a surprising 6 months already (with playing almost every weekend ) which amazed me. My CA was a peach, but the gearbox is at the end of its life. I've seen Echo1's have their share of wiring problems. |

Yeah E1s like to strip stuff such as gears or pistons. that seems to be their biggest problem. They're not good externally if you play rough with em. Oh and the gearbox shells tend to crack which sort of ruins the whole gearbox. I know because I've had 3 JG/E1s and they all broke so I got a better gun (full metal too) and have probably had it pay for itself already |

I had a JG MP5 SD5. It weighed about 2 pounds ha. Very unrealistic. But it broke after 3 months and 3 airsoft event. Not good. But it was only $100 |

You get what you paid for (most of the time) |

Yep. For $200 you can get an SRC or something but just jump it to $260 and you have a much better G&G or something. Sometimes a little extra cash saved can go a long way. And I think JG/E1 is still hated in this community ha. It's funny how some communitys love em and some hate em. This goes for other guns too. People like WE here. Other places say they suck |

I love TM. Low FPS is a regret only due to bad brush penetration. I still got good range due to the hop up in all 3 of my TMs |
