At another forum/field I post and try to play at, in the summer months they have a rule stating that if you are not carrying water out on the field you are not allowed to play. What do you guys think of this rule?

I remember one summer op at P98 someone wasn't hydrating and passed out or something like that, causing the game to stop. He wasn't carrying water and I gave him some extra bottles I had. That could have been easily avoided.

We provide water on site year round. There is no excuse for lack of hydration. Players are highly encouraged to hydrate of course. As for carrying material on you: I think that's highly supportable and I had planned similar action for BSII. It will be enforced as best as reasonably possible.

Sure. Who's going to argue against carrying water?

I think that's a pretty good rule for the summer. I can assume you will need a lot of water carrying around all that gear, especially if you have a jacket.

We don't want to see anyone suffering effects of dehydration. Players are encouraged to bring extra forms of hydration with them instead of relying solely on the P98 water provisions. Most people do so it's not a big deal but camel backs and canteens are easier to carry on your person than plastic water bottles.

:drink: <-- Enjoy.
