Yearly pass?

I saw another thing a field is doing and that is offering annual passes. You make a donation of $X (whatever the field says) and you are cleared to play at any event for the year without making payment.

For example, P98 seems to do a minimum of 4 and max of 6 ops a year. Pretending that 2013 will have 5 ops, they could offer a the annual pass for $40 and it would pretty much be go to 4 ops and then get one free or something. The price can be fooled around with of course. I'm just making stuff up.

It might encourage players to try to make every event they can and players might like it because they might be able to save $$.

Yeah. This definitely would be most appealing to a consistent regular player.

Yearly passes are good because it gives the organization some money up front. Even though they might lose money in the long run they can get started on field projects earlier because they have the extra cash.

Well I don't think this plan will help a whole lot with that because with our budget, starting a project in the shorter term will require long term spending cuts. If the purpose of the yearly pass is to get projects going, we'd have to boost the event cost back to $15 (it was here for a while) and then offer the year pass at the standard $10 or close to it.

A plywood village has been considered. Using the trench as a focal point would be good for this but the location may disrupt deer movement as behind the trench is their favorite place to bed down at. But this project is low on priority compared to patching the roof in the main building of the village to prevent the floor from rotting as well.

Edit: I'm going to take a look at that roof next time I'm down there and see if I can dig up some supplies for a makeshift patch.

Take that wooden door and throw in over the holes. It'll last almost 10 years I bet! Only challenge is getting it up there. There's no easy way on that roof when you're trying to carry a door up.
