There are a few ways you can be recognized as a community member at Polar98. The first surefire way is to go to the ops. Being on the field, without doubt, classifies you as a member of the community. Without going to ops you can still be a community member via online activity particularly on the forums. Frequent forum users who have either not been to any ops but hope to or have not been to any ops in a long time but hope to return are also recognized as community members. When I try to compile statistics on the multitude of things that I do, that is mostly how things are determined. It is also possible to be a partial community member, which happens when you were once active on the fourms/field but have since subsided with unknown future intentions. Over time the weight that you play in our records decreases at varying rates. For example, in August of 2010 each member of the former 7th army airsoft team was classified as 1/3 of a person as inactivity eclipsed one year. Data representation was carried over from the time of most recent confirmation of information. Another example would be the 131st who after approximately 13 months of inactivity is weighted as 1/10 of a person per team member currently (pending complete phaseout on October 31st). As you can see the decay of weight varies based on individual situations. I just wanted to post this as reference to those who wanted to know. |
