It was just last month that I put a post up on Airsoft Forum trying to bring regional teams into the Polar98 forums and thus expand affiliations. My topic was deleted within a few hours without any explanation. Then today I saw a post up for the South Florida Airsoft Association. They had a link to their facebook page which was deleted from the post. The mod said that in order to be allowed to post a link to your facebook page, you have to advertize for Airsoft Forum by posting a link to their forums. I thought that was rediculous.

I have not heard of any group learning of an op through Airsoft Forum. Myself I dislike using large forums like Airsoft forum because of the ruthlessness of mods and the large amount of 'trolls' on them.

P98 says that big forums have been historically the worst yeild for community growth that is true.
