It seems new players these days are coming up with all these ideas such as using neft bows, rocket launchers, and swords. It is my opinion that these do not belong on the field, at least at Polar98. I think it may be useful to make rules barring them from use. After all, flourencent airsoft guns already have been banned (for the same purpose but as a result of a different situation). |

My thought on the matter is that they're completely useless on a normal playing field, but if you want to be the laughing stock of the event and be laughed at the entire time, go for it. I have heard of players using nerf swords and axes at CQB places, most noteably Bob of Airsoft GI (he wields an axe with scary efficency). |

I will leave the door open to action, however I do not believe there is an immediate threat and due to the ND's rights of interpretation, our fluorescent gun ban could cover this if that is how we choose to interpret it. |

I agree. I think it's a stupid idea to mix nerf and airsoft. Firing a foam ball from an M203 is fine but no orange rocket launchers for room clearing. Thunder-B is better. |

I agree that nerf needs to stay off the field. Not sure if we need to make rules on it but it wouldn't hurt to have some assurance. |
