I've heard a lot about BB's and which to use... Like "use .20's because they are faster" or "use .25 because they cut threw brush and wind better!" Which is better?

I'm basing this off of the guns in your armory....25's are 'better' then .20's because they are heavier, which makes them more accurate, gives them better brush penetration and less susceptable to the wind. Some people are obessed with having the highest FPS with their gun, but being accurate is much more beneficial to you on the field.

The highest fps your gun can handle before performance drop is the way to go. Even my 1911 that fires 330 with .20g can handle a .30g BB.

There is veyr little benefit having you muzzle veloctity higher than 350. Between 330 and 350 your range will plateau. The reason to go higher than that is so you can use heavier BBs and get them to shoot at that fps. So if you shoot ~350 with .30g that is the right BB for your gun.

I would recommend trying .2's, .23's, .25's, .28's and .30's to see what weight works well with your guns. You should be testing accuracy....but until then go with .25's!

And for a little personal experience. I started with .20g, switched to .25g. BIG improvement. But then I tried .28g and saw even more improvement so I have been using those since. I'd like to chrono my gun and see how it is with .28g.

I use .25g but I am thinking about switching to .28g. Not too much more expensive either.
