Many of you know I've been talking about making a polarstar for over a year now. It's finally time for me to make progress. I got a used 3000psi aluminum tank reserved for my purchase. That should get things started. Next is a regulator which I'd like to get from amped. I'll post any updates later.

It's non SLP. Others said that was the best.

yes HPA is the way to go. id buy either a Amped Firebase regulator, or spend the money or a Redline DevGru... they are amazing regulators.

Do you think I should get one with coiled line? I think it looks cool but know its not really needed. Is having the flexibility an advantage though?

I have a coiled line. It is helpful in more extreme situations where your line gets extended really far such as dropping your gun by accident or passing your gun to another player without disconnecting while you climb over an obstacle for example. There are some more options out there these days compared to when I bought my setup, but I'm not really sure exactly the pros and cons of those. Bottom line is that I do know that I like my current rig.

Find out what works for you. I prefer straight line woven through my gear over my shoulder. It makes it so the line acts like a second sling. Very rarely does my line ever get hooked on anything, unlike my sniper line which is coiled and runs under my arm and around the side. My sniper line is always getting snagged on stuff. I am eventually going to switch my sniper line to run off my p* line as well.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll have some time to think on it. I'll be ordering something after the holidays and will report back. Got the tank today and it is pretty nice. It's got 2/3 full of air too.
