http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W66syJ88u8 So it looks like a company called Wolverine Airsoft is introducing a HPA, which, from the video, looks like it preforms like a Polarstar. After researching their website (wolverineairsoft.com) it seems they are not selling Daytona guns; their guns use what they call a Single Moving Part system as well as a FCU. It also claims that their only moving part fits into the cylinder compartment of most TM-compatable gearboxes. Here's the product page: http://wolverineairsoft.com/index.php/products-main/about-the-smp What do you guys think of this? |

Very interesting. In a growing market that is HPA, it is not surprising to see a new company seeking to compete. This can only be good news for availability and perhaps affordability as well. It is also nice to have another American manufacturer of airsoft guns. |

I wonder how much this will cost to set up. We'll find out soon enough I guess. |

That pic looks pretty small to me, no wider than the advert at the bottom of the page. |

I have no idea what's going on, but anyways I wonder if they're releasing their own 'fusion engines' because that looks like a standard AEG gearbox shell right there. Also (now that I pretty much am looking at this under a microscope lol) I wouldn't be too thrilled about bending the wiring back like that for rear wiring. It looks fragile to me. With a p* I think there's a connector there and I seem to trust those a little more. |

Very affordable. I'd like to see some get battle tested by future users and see what they have to say about it. |

They should waterproof everything. That way people who don't have electronics in their stock can have some peace of mind about it being in the rails when it's raining/snowing. |
