This fall I will mark 3 years since I started my polar star project. I still have my gen 1 FCU and bulky old fashioned air rig and while I haven't played a ton of airsoft in the last 3 years, I've still managed to put 22,222 rounds down range according to the FCU's counter. I think at that roundage most stock gearboxes would've needed work done. One thing I would like to do is figure out how to lube the fusion engine because it'll need it come 50k rounds.

That's interesting about lubing it. With such a simple system, I wouldn't think it would need it.

You probably could do without it but it's recommended by P* to do the 50k round oiling.

It'll be a while before I get the 50k. I'm not even half way yet. It's just something to think about.

Got to redline airsoft and buy lube for P* in a little blue bottle. It is the only lube that P* recommends. Only need a few drops per lube cycle. Drop it in the regulator and it will lube the whole system. Only cost is like $8-$10.

Sounds like a winner. I'll buy myself a bottle with my next airsoft order.
