I had been waiting for months to finally order the last piece of the puzzle from my P* project and that is this fusion engine. As soon as Amped gets more in, they'll be sending me one. It's a gen3 and cost $500. I will be installing it myself and will report how that goes. |

Can't wait. Tomorrow I'll probably play my last games with the electric setup. I'm glad it's still running with the tons of rounds its got on it. |

At 500 bucks, P* is getting no cheaper. If this industry is supposed to become the standard for airsoft in the future, that price has got to come down significantly. |

Good point Red. The more manufacturers that enter the market, the more competition there will be to provide the best product at the right price. I can see polar star moving it's marketing strategy and becoming the high end system as other companies release cheaper alternatives. |

I highly doubt the price will drop on P*s. Look at it this way, Systema PTW was the standard for AEGs and for people to try to get. Then you have high end AEGs like G&P, VFC, etc. Then you have mid grade AEGs, and finally you have low end AEGs. So P*s are like PTWs, and the others will fall into suit. The industry will have the standard and we will get other products from various companies that will try to compete with P* in the HPA department. They will eventually be rated as high end, mid grade, and low end. |

I started installing it on Monday. Trying to get it perfect in there. It's in but there might be a little rub on the hop up and the air nozzle. Just a minor adjustment and it will be perfect. I'm getting about 250 feet of range with 0.25g and I think getting the nozzle perfect will let me do a little better and switching to .30g will help as well. I'm hoping to get to the 280 ft threshold. |

Research some barrel/hopup/nub/bucking upgrades and you'll be able to get even better than that even with the short mp5 barrel. |
